Ingredients:
- 4 flour tortillas (8-10 inch ideally)
- 1 cup pizza sauce, or your favorite pasta sauce
- 1 ⅓ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Optional toppings: parmesan cheese, crushed red pepper flakes, fresh basil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (if using the oven method).
- Spread ¼ cup of sauce on each tortilla.
- Sprinkle ⅓ cup shredded cheese on each tortilla.
- Bake tortilla pizzas in a cast-iron skillet, on a pizza stone or directly on the oven rack (with a cookie sheet below to catch any melted cheese drips) for 7-9 minutes or until edges are browned and cheese is bubbling. Cook time will vary based on your oven and size of tortillas. Watch carefully near the end so that the tortillas don’t burn.
- Sprinkle on red pepper flakes, parmesan and basil if using before serving.
