Oven Fried Pickles

Ingredients

  •  1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs
  •  1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  •  1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  •  dash of cayenne pepper
  •  16 ounce jar dill pickle slices, patted dry with paper towels
  •  2 large egg whites
  •  2 tablespoons pickle juice
  •  Optional Dip: Ranch dressing, thousand island dressing or ketchup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375° F. Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with seasonings.
  3. In a medium-sized bowl whisk egg whites and pickle juice until foamy and soft peaks form. Add pickles and stir gently to coat.
  4. One at a time, shake pickles to remove excess egg and coat with seasoned bread crumbs.
  5. Place the pickles on the prepared baking sheet (they can be pretty close, just not touching)and bake for 10 minutes. Flip pickles and continue baking for another 10 minutes or until crispy
